When our pets cross the Rainbow Bridge it is devastatingly hard on us.But I want you to try to remember, for our pets, it is pure joy.
Our hearts shatter into a million pieces when they make their journey. But we can learn to live without their physical presence. They are a huge part of our lives. They are family. But to them, we are their ENTIRE life. We are the only thing we have. So losing us first would be even harder for them. That’s why their lives are shorter than ours.
To offer comfort, I want to share some quotes from some angel pets or pets I spoke to right before their journey to the Rainbow Bridge..
Their words are beautiful. And a true expression of how our animals feels.
“Instead of focusing on the loss she will feel when I leave, I want her to focus on the beauty of knowing my days were here with her, my family, the humans I love most. And that is the most beautiful way to spend the end of my life. There is no other way I would want to spend it. “
“Nothing about going to the Rainbow Bridge will be scary for me because I will be with my family. A family that loves me enough to make my last days, as good as my best days, simply by being near my side as I close my eyes. “
“Their hearts will hurt, but ry to focus on the joy of knowing my heart will not hurt at the end because of the love I have around me. My heart will not hurt on my last day because my last day will be spent with those I love most, and that will make it one of my best days. “
“I chose my family because they are the ones I want by my side during this beautiful time. “
“The journey to the Rainbow Bridge is beautiful for us, but sad for our humans. I wish our humans knew how thankful we are for helping us journey peacefully. “
These are just some of the beautiful words spoken by animals. Though sending them on their journey is heartbreaking for us, for them, it is a time of celebration. They have completed their jobs here on Earth.
And most importantly, I want you to remember this.
